Winter is Back!

Winter is back with a vengeance in the Alps which is great news as we head into February.

Over a metre of snow has fallen over resorts such as La Plagne, Les Arcs, the Three Valleys and Chamonix.There is also more snow forecast over the next few days to keep the conditions topped up.

Please do take heed of the avalanche warnings though as the off piste is very dangerous just now. Sadly 5 people died in the Swiss Alps on Saturday where the avalanche risk was 3 out of 5. The unstable snow pack can trigger avalanches easily.
