A lovely attractive traditional village giving easy access to the huge Three Valleys area. St Martin is a small quiet resort which offers inexpensive and good value for money accommodation including catered chalets, hotels and apartments.
St Martin is a traditional and pretty alpine village that has remained relatively unspoilt despite being at the heart of one of the largest ski areas in France. Visitors benefit from the modern lift system and huge variety of runs that the Three Valleys have to offer but at lower prices than the larger resorts.

St Martin de Belleville is the first village in the Belleville valley which also includes the resorts of Les Menuires and Val Thorens. The long, wide pistes in to the village are perfect for beginners. Mont de la Chambre (2850m), with its numerous blue and red pistes, is ideal for intermediate skiers and offers direct access to Val Thorens and Meribel.
The best advanced skiing in the area is on La Masse, which has been described as a “hidden treasure” and is the doorway to some fantastic off piste itinerary runs. There is also a 28km network of cross country skiing routes. |
