From the steep and deep to chutes, couloirs, bowls and glades, Jackson Hole is like nothing you have ever experienced before.A hidden gem that is well worth visiting is the small resort of Grand Targhee, about an hour away, which lays claim to be one of the powder capitals of America. In town, you can put your skis on at Snow King Mountain with its day and night-time skiing. Snowboarders are also well catered for with two halfpipes on the mountain.

Set at the foot of the beautiful Teton mountain range, Jackson Hole enjoys a very attractive location. A genuine ranching town, Jackson is some 12 miles from the ski area at Teton Village and is connected by local bus services. Its Western streets are host to an amazing variety of restaurants and places to visit; from the famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar where your seat is a saddle, to several wonderful art galleries. Other activities include dog sledding, snowmobile tours of Yellowstone National Park, sleigh rides through the Elk refuges and wildlife tours.
