Situated in the heart of the village of Tignes Le Lac this cosy Chalet hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment. With the addition of 13 new bedrooms including interconnecting and family suites as well as the upgrade of the original guest rooms all of which now have a modern rustic feel, the majority with brand new bathrooms and TVs with 20 British channels. For those wanting to relax after a hard day on the slopes there will be a new indoor swimming pool. Brand new, Viva health & beauty treatment room, a steam room and sauna to soothe any aches and pains away.
This cosy Alpine hotel has plenty of charm and a great location that ensures both the slopes and the shops are within easy reach. Just a step outside the Chalet hotel Aiguille Percée, and you will be greeted by gorgeous views of the Lac de Tignes and the Grand Motte glacier. It’s only a 100 metre walk to the main gondola which will whisk you up to the vast Espace Killy ski area or just around the corner, you’ll find yourself in the main square where the ski schools meet up. It couldn’t be better!
Children can make new friends and have fun in the children’s club, supervised by our fully qualified British nannies. They can enjoy their own early evening meal followed by a supervised film that runs during evening dinner so that you’re free to dine in peace.

Inside the hotel, you’ll find a warm welcome from our friendly staff . They’ll serve you a full English or continental breakfast to set you up for the day, followed by an afternoon tea in the dining room overlooking the mountains and lake, ensuring there’s plenty of home-made cakes, soup, juices and assorted teas to go round. Afterwards, put your feet up in the bar or lounge, or sit on the balcony and soak up some afternoon sunshine.
Evening dinner will be 3 courses with wine, the perfect time to reflect on your day on the slopes and unwind. A children's high tea is available 7 days a week for children 12 years and under.
One evening a week dinner is not served in the Chalet hotel allowing you the opportunity to dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants. |

Chalet hotel Aiguille Percée is a popular hotel for families with the ski slopes right on the doorstep. Childcare at the hotel is available for children from age 12 months to 12 years and is pre-bookable prior to departure.
The hotel crèche is colourful, fun and fully equipped with all the latest toys and books, cots, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridge. There is also a parents kitchen facility for any late night feeds and a free Evening Listening Service which runs from 7.30pm to 11pm allowing parents to relax over dinner whilst the children enjoy quiet time supervised by our nannies with a dvd and a story.
Ski School
We work very closely with Evolution 2 and Les Marmottons ski schools, who are happy to teach children from 4 years upwards. Children that are booked into the children's clubs and the recommended ski school will be dropped off and collected from ski school by our childcare staff and from there bought back to the hotel where we provide lunch and afternoon activities (or return to ski school) all supervised.
For children that are not skiing and are booked into the children's clubs then a mountain of fun and games both indoor and outdoor awaits daily. |
