If you are looking for a truly charming mountain ski lodge, well run with superb cuisine then look no further, you have found La Forge!
The chalet is just 250m from the Les Houches pistes, Chamonixs' World Cup venue. Alternatively there is a minibus service means you are transported everyday to the various ski areas in the Valley and back, take you for après ski and out to Chamonix town in the evenings after dinner, collecting you at Midnight!
Each bedroom enjoys its own ensuite shower/wc or an adjacent bathroom with bath/wc or shower/wc. In some of the bathrooms we have used beautiful Italian limestone tiles. The Forge has bags of character in a French chic style and is enhanced by our collection of lovingly collected ski memorabilia, books, vintage ski's and original posters. We've also got every home comfort to make your stay a real pleasure; a sauna, Satellite TV, ADSL, Wireless and SKYPE. Our talented chef and chalet hosts offer a friendly yet professional service.This is an ideal property for large groups, yet some of our best weeks are full of couples and singles too.
Our extra's are standard: in the bedrooms; crisp white bed linen, bathrobes for the sauna, bath products, slippers, fluffy towels and bottled water. In the chalet; complimentary fruit bowl, flowers to welcome you, excellent coffee, aperitifs and canapés each evening and our champagne reception on arrival!. This property is classed as a para-hotel and conforms to all local regulations concerning health, safety and fire regulations.
