If you are looking for a truly charming mountain lodge, well run with superb cuisine then look no further, you have found La Forge! Owned and operated by us for many years we have spent considerable time and effort creating the kind of chalet that we ourselves would like to stay in. The chalet is just 250m from the Les Houches pistes, Chamonixs' World Cup venue. Alternatively our excellent minibus service means we will transport you everyday to the various ski areas in the Valley and back, take you for après ski and out to Chamonix town in the evenings after dinner, collecting you at Midnight!
We have recently re-modelled part of the chalet so that each bedroom now enjoys its own ensuite shower/wc or an adjacent facility. In the new bathrooms we have used beautiful Italian limestone tiles. The Forge has bags of character in a French rustic chic style and is enhanced by our collection of ski memorabilia. We've also got every home comfort to make your stay a real pleasure; a sauna, Satellite TV, ADSL, Wireless and SKYPE.
Our extra's are standard: crisp white bed linen, bathrobes for the sauna, complimentary bath products, fruit bowl and flowers to welcome you, excellent coffee, aperitifs and canapés each evening and our champagne reception on arrival! . We are passionate about our food and can even offer groups organic holidays! This property is classed as a para-hotel and conforms to all local regulations concerning health, safety and fire regulations.

Your stay in Chalet La Vieille Forge can begin and end on any day of the week. Our holidays are entirely flexible and we welcome groups or singles alike. Prices are quoted per person, and include our excellent fully catered service, in-resort minibus transport and return airport transfers. Single supplements may apply to individuals staying in a double room.
Weekends in high (main) season are sold as a min of 4 nights
Staff live-in. Tuesday is the usual chalet night off. We can also cater the chalet organically for exclusive chalet groups! Floor area in the region of 350 sqr. m. Parking for 6 vehicles. Exclusive chalet use based on min12 persons paying the full per person price plus applicable single room supplements or children's discounts can apply thereafter.
Prices do not include travel/flights but INCLUDES airport transfers for groups (arriving at same time)
