Beautiful chalet with total style, comfort and luxury in mind for a perfect holiday. Log fire, fantastic entertainment systems, hot tub and sauna. Exclusive development of five chalets located at the top of town and next to all the main lifts. Built around an atmospheric cobbled courtyard at a giddying altitude of 2000m, and surrounded on two sides by piste, the five chalets of Le Village characterize the ultimate in ski-in ski-out convenience.
Instructors actually ski to the boot room door and collect you for your lesson! Those familiar with our previous developments will not be surprised that we have made our usual choice from the a la Carte Alpine menu; stone walls, slate roofs, vaulted ceilings, solid timber floors, hi-tec entertainment, snappy chic en-suite bathrooms, hot tubs, saunas... all the ubiquitous toys that have become our trademark. Each of the bedrooms is larger than the customary Alpine offering and every bedroom has a balcony, some actually spill straight onto the piste.
An exciting caged people carrier provides aerial transport down to all parts of the resort including the outdoor ice rink and pool. With a nursery slope under your nose, our famed nanny service to look after the kids and spa treatments for a little spoilt indulgence, for the first time the discerning skier seeking supreme comfort can enjoy everything that Alpe d’Huez has to offer.

Food glorious food
Our Executive Chefs are passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of hungry skier and healthy palate. The new and refined 2011 menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning. If you are staying in one of our larger CLUB chalets then your chef will be offering canapés and a choice of menu every evening; a little more choice to pander the penchant of everyone in the party.

Children in Chalets
A chalet holiday is perfectly suited to families, allowing children access to communal areas and facilities unknown in hotels. This, combined with our excellent childcare, makes skiing a truly family affair. We ensure you enjoy your time on the piste free from worries, safe in the knowledge that the children are having plenty of fun, and being cared for in a safe and happy environment.If you call us with the make up of your party, including ages and number of children, we will be happy to recommend the chalet best suited to you. Children of all ages are welcome in any of our chalets when a chalet is booked in its entirety.
During school holidays families are welcome in our CLUB properties, and families are welcome in the Altitude Lodge all season. Any family bookings outside of these dates will be considered and accepted at our discretion.
Children’s Equipment
To ensure your little ones have everything they need, we can provide the following items free of charge upon request: sterilisers, changing mats, potties, bedguards, toilet steps, toilet seats, table booster seats and stairgates (not available for all chalets). All of these items are subject to availability and should be requested before you travel. Children’s cutlery and crockery are available in all chalets.
Children’s Meals
Our chalet hosts serve high tea for children at around 18h00. We require all children under 12 to take high tea unless you book the whole chalet. If you book the whole chalet and would rather your children eat with you later then please advise us at the time of booking along with any dietary requirements your child may have.
Our children's menus are very adaptable and the chalet host will discuss with you on arrival to tailor meals to your children's liking. The following shows an example of dishes that may be served:

Kids ski free
Children under 5 years old on the return date of travel receive a free ski pass on all departure dates. For those travelling to La Plagne the age limit for the childs free pass is 6 years old. For those travelling to Zermatt the age limit for the child's free pass is 8 years old.
Enthusiastic, qualified and caring
Our nannies will make your holiday and spoil you with a freedom you’d forgotten existed. Enthusiastic, qualified and caring, they’ll come to your chalet, look after the children, waft them effortlessly from pyjamas to piste if required, and allow you to get on with what you came for. Regrettably they are not available to take home (Well not entirely true to be honest, as a many of our longer serving nannies have eventually gone on to work for our guests!) |

Self Drive and Independent Travel
Driving can be a quick and economical way to get to the Alps. Should you wish your Channel crossing can be arranged: we can book tickets for you with Eurotunnel or P&O Ferries. Alternatively, if you arrange all of your travel independently, there is a £150 per person discount. We will provide directions to your chalet as part of your Final Travel Details. |
