Choose either bed and breakfast or half board Close to the centre of Val d’Isere, Hotel L’Avancher is a small, friendly hotel offering you all the warmth and comfort of a real mountain chalet. It’s a cosy, 3* hotel located at the foot of the Solaise pistes allowing you to get the most from your holiday.
The 17 rooms are comfortably furnished and all have en-suite facilities (shower or bath), TV, phone and safe. You can have the choice of south facing, mountainside rooms with balcony’s or the slightly cheaper street facing rooms.
An excellent breakfast buffet is served every morning between 7.30a.m. and 10.30a.m. Keep an eye out for the wonderful homemade jams! In the evening the bar provides all the comfort you need serving a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Buffet breakfast in the morning
After a six-year break, the restaurant – formerly named “La Raclette” – has reopened its doors every evening (except Sundays) from 7.30pm. The dining room disposes of fifty seats and welcomes both hotel clients and visitors, in a simple and warm atmosphere. Half-board guests are offered a menu that varies from day to day, cooked with mainly fresh and local products. The menu “a la carte” gives you the choice between homemade starters, a selection of cut meats, various fondues or the traditional Raclette, that has made a name for itself : The raclette cheese is melted under big ovens and Marie serves you plates of delicious golden cheese.
For the younger ones (under 7 years old), there's nothing better than the Kid's Menu with a fresh steak prepared upon request. |
