Atlas was refurbished last year, with the addition of a hot-tub on its huge sun-terrace, a new TV and DVD and free use of the adjacent swimming-pool.
The open-plan, split-level lounge area and dining-room have big picture windows looking out across the lake to the whole magnificent Tignes bowl, and the first floor balcony-terrace with its glass front is a superb sun-trap for afternoon tea!
You can ski to and from the Chardonnet lift just 150m away, and the resort centre of Tignes-le-Lac and its shops, bars and restaurants is just 100m further on. The Aeroski gondola connecting to Val d'lsère is only 5 minutes' walk.
