This comfortable hotel has all you could wish for when planning a family ski holiday; in-house child care, excellent leisure facilities. The suites and bedrooms are light and airy and are of varying sizes so will suit most family groups. Spacious dining-room overlooking the piste, a large south facing sun-terrace, lounge/ bar with large feature fireplace and WiFi
Lifts to all floors.
You walk out of the hotel boot room directly onto the slopes of the Pralong and after one short button lift, can ski down the Bellecôte piste immediately to the heart of 1850! Here, at the centre of La Croisette, the ski schools will meet our guests joining ski or board lessons whilst others can choose to head west to the Méribel valley, or continue down the glorious tree-lined runs to Le Praz or start you day heading high and south up the Saulire. Alternatively you can ski across to the Altiport button and across to the Biollay chairlift.

Fine Wine and our Culinary Fine Dining Experience!
For six days of the week our Chalet Hotel catering staff prepare all your meals for you as described below. On their day off, breakfast will still be served to you as normal without however the hot option, and that evening you and your family have the chance to eat out in one of the local cafés or restaurants. The majority of our guests feel that children under 13 years can inhibit the dinner-party atmosphere at evening meals, especially if they are over-tired, so our younger guests are served high tea at about 5.30pm. We do not then allow anyone under 13 at the adult evening meals in our Chalet Hotels.
Breakfast
A good breakfast is essential on a ski holiday, so we provide a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea and coffee, local bread (and croissants or ‘pains au chocolat’ in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Additionally we offer a daily hot dish, such as scrambled eggs with mushrooms or home-made pancakes.
Afternoon Tea
The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you by your chalet host, ready for your return. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake.
Children’s High Tea
Served at around 5.30pm and supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than our main adult dinner. Puréed food is available for infants on request. Parents are asked to accompany children under 36 months, whilst children 3-12 years will be supervised by chalet staff. Children under 13 are not allowed to join the adult-only dinner.
Culinary Choice Dinner
Our ‘Culinary Choice’ adult dinners comprise five courses, with a choice of menu for your enjoyment. Adults will be asked to choose their evening meals at breakfast for that evening from a choice of varied dishes selected for each course, accompanied of course by our complimentary wines.
Example Menu
Canapes
Smoked Salmon and Keta Blinis and Mini Sweet Potato Rosti
Starter
Rocket, Fennel and Parmesan Salad or Carrot Soup with Coriander Oil and Garlic Croutons

Our Wine Selection
We are very proud of our wine selection which combines crisp and fruity whites with medium to full bodied reds, for a variety of palates. We select our wines in conjunction with our good friends Nicolas and Véronique Perret the third generation in the Perret family’s fine wine business based in the Savoie. Nicolas is a Master of Wine, having trained at the prestigious Burgundy Wine University in Beaune. Each season in October, Nicolas and Véronique bring over a new selection for us to sample (someone has to do it!) and together we choose our four wines for the coming season, based on our menus and their pure enjoyment factor. Wine is an incredibly subjective and emotive subject, however the feedback we have received from our guests over recent seasons endorses our aims of providing wines to enhance your meal and to suit most tastes. We hope you will enjoy them as much as we do!
Special Diets
Vegetarian options are always available if you advise us in advance, and other special diets can generally be catered for at a cost of £35 per person per week. and please advise us at the time of booking, and specify details on your Booking Form . |

CHILD CARE
Five mornings a week, children in all Sprite ski classes are collected by our staff (and/or the ski school instructors) from a central meeting point in the Chalet Hotel and taken to the nearby slopes for their lessons or to the Snow Club for their morning fun.
At the end of the morning lesson or Snow Club, children joining Supervised Lunch, afternoon Snow Club or with afternoon Sprite or Spritelet sessions will be collected and returned to the Crystal 2000 for lunch.
The Snow Club is based in the Crystal 2000 with outings for their specific snow fun activities. All children in afternoon Sprites or Spritelets will be taken to and collected from their session by our staff and will join the Snow Club children for the remainder of the afternoon, before high tea.
We ask that Nursery children and Spritelet Snow Clubbers are delivered to the Nursery or Snow Club by their parents. Nursery lunches are held in the Crystal. Nursery children must be collected by their parents at 5pm and accompanied at high tea, whilst all other children will be supervised by our staff through high tea until 6pm.
Mini Cocoa Club will run in the Nursery 6 nights a week from 7.30-9.30pm for children aged 3-5 years. Parents are asked to deliver and collect their children.
Cocoa Club runs in the Snow Club room in the Crystal 2000 from 7.30-10pm on six nights a week and is available to all children 6-12 years. Parents are asked to deliver and collect their children. Parents can put their children to bed and enjoy a further hour of relaxation, making the most of our Baby-Listening/Child-Patrol Service, which runs until 11pm.
